It's revision time. Let's review today's grammar.

When asking someone, 'What's that?' You would ask, 'He aha   ?'

You would ask Maruia, 'What's this?' by asking, 'He   tēnei?'

The word   indicates that the position of the item is near the person being spoken to as opposed to the person speaking.

'He pene   ' means 'Those are pens'.

If you have a book next to you and Raimona asks you 'He aha tēnā?', you would say 'He pukapuka   '.

If Raukura is talking to you about the car that's closer to you than it is to her, she would say 'He motokā   '.

'He pēke tēnā' means '   is a bag'.

'He pune ēnā' means '   are spoons'.

'He tūru   ' means 'Those are chairs.'

'He   ēnā' means 'Those are flowers.'
