Raimona greets Raukura at the beginning of this episode. He asks Raukura what her name is. What phrase does he use?
Raukura's surname is Huata. This is also her maiden name. How do you ask Raukura what her maiden name is?
You meet someone new at a party. You don't know their name but would like to know. What do you ask them?
Normally one would ask 'How are you?' after asking their name. How do you ask someone 'How are you?'
Kerry Rangi is asked what her maiden name is. It is Tukere. How would Kerry reply to this question. 'Ko wai tō ingoa takakau?'
When asking 'What is her name?' you use the phrase...
If I was to reply 'Her name is Pua.' How would I say that in Māori?
What phrase do I use to ask 'What's his family name?'
The following words are jumbled but when placed properly they make the sentence 'What is your family name?' The words are: wai, ko, whānau, ingoa, tō. Place them in their proper order.
These words are jumbled too. The sentence should say 'My maiden name is Smith.' The words are: Smith, taku, takakau, ko, ingoa.
