Test & Homework

Keep up the great work whānau! So let's get into some more revision and take a look at the homework exercise from Te Murumāra as well.

Te Murumāra's homework was to translate into Māori the words for 'up', 'down', 'in front of', 'behind' and 'in the middle'.

The correct English translation for 'Nataria and her grandchild are on the bus' is 'Kei runga a Nataria   tana mokopuna i te pahi.'

The correct Māori translation for 'Kaiza and Te Ahurewa have returned to Mokoia' is 'Kua hoki a   Te Ahurewa ki Mokoia.'

The correct Māori translation for 'Where is Nikora and her marbles?' is 'Kei hea   āna māpere?'

Re-arrange the words on the right-hand side to match the words on the left-hand side.
