Let's have another quick look at the 'a' and 'o' categories we learned last week as well as the grammar point 'Where is your home?'

'Ko Rīhari   tuakana' is the Māori equivalent to 'Rīhari is his older brother'.

'Ko Anthony   tamaiti' is the Māori translation for 'Anthony is her child'.

'Ko wai   matua?' is the Māori equivalent to 'Who is your father?'

'Ko wai ōu   ?' is the plural form of 'Ko wai tōu matua?'

'Ko wai   tipuna?' is the singular form of 'Ko wai ōu tīpuna?'

'Ko wai āu tamāhine?' is the plural form of 'Ko wai   tamāhine?'

'Kei hea   kāinga?' is the Māori equivalent to 'Where is her home?'

'His home is in Dunedin' is the English translation for 'Kei   tōna kāinga'.

'Where is my home?' in Māori is 'Kei hea tōku   ?'

'Kei hea   kāinga?' is the Māori equivalent of 'Where is your home?'
