Let's revisit some additional exercises which look at the grammar point and examples of the 'o' category e hoa mā!

'Tāna' is the possessive determiner that translates to 'his' or 'her' under the 'a' category. '   ' means the same thing in the 'o' category.

'Tāu' falls under the 'a' category and means 'your', what is the equivalent in the 'o' category?  

'Ko Pare   māmā' is the translation for 'Pare is my mother' using the 'o' category.

'Rihari is his brother' in Māori would be 'Ko Rihari   tuakana'.

Using the 'o' category, 'Who is your father?' in Māori is 'Ko wai   matua?'

'Who is your younger sister?' is the English translation for 'Ko wai   teina?'

'Who is his grandparent?' is the English translation for 'Ko wai   tipuna?'

'Ko Whaea Mārama   kaiako' is Māori for 'Whaea Mārama is my teacher.'

'Ko Miriama   kaiwhakahaere' is Māori for 'Miriama is his boss'.
